Packtodo's Terms and Conditions

We've updated our terms and conditions on September 22, 2023. These changes are effective immediately.

Introduction

When using our website, you must follow the Terms and Conditions listed here and our Privacy Policy. It's like a contract between you and our company, Packtodo.com. And this agreement covers everything and replaces any previous agreements we may have had.

Packtodo can change or update these terms without letting you know beforehand. It's a good idea to look at these Terms and Conditions each time you visit our site.

Responsibility for Order Review and Approval Before Printing

When working on your project, it is essential that you carefully go through and approve everything before we send it to the printing press. We want to ensure that you are 100% satisfied with the final product, so please review it thoroughly. We cannot be held responsible for any mistakes or errors not brought to our attention during the proofing process. Once a project is approved and sent to the press, we won't be able to make any changes because of the printing process.

You are responsible for double-checking all the content, spelling, grammar, and design elements before giving us the final approval. We want to avoid any issues or disappointments down the road, so please make sure everything is accurate and satisfactory before giving us the green light.

We care deeply about your satisfaction and always strive to provide top-notch products and services. However, if there happens to be a mistake or error after the project has been sent to press, we won't be able to issue a refund. This is because the printing process is permanent and any changes would result in a significant loss for our company.

We value our customers and want to ensure you are delighted with your project. That's why we cannot stress enough the importance of carefully reviewing and approving everything before we print.

Online Proofing System

At Packtodo.com, we value our customers and want to ensure you are delighted with your order. That's why we're excited to offer our online proofing system. This allows you to review the files you uploaded before finalizing your order. We recommend that you take advantage of this and carefully review the proof to ensure everything looks good.

Color Accuracy

We get that color accuracy is super important in your printed materials. The online proof won't accurately represent the final product. We do our best to match the colors as closely as possible, but some things, like transparency, overprinting, and the shift from RGB or Pantone to CMYK, may not show up accurately in the online proof.

We want you to be happy with your order. Our team will do everything possible to match the colors on the proof to the final product, but there may be some variations because it's just part of the printing process. We take great pride in delivering high-quality products, so if there are any issues, please let us know, and we'll try to make it right. However, you must decide if the colors must be precisely matched.

Another important reminder is that we can't control any color changes that may happen when we convert your files from RGB to CMYK color modes. For the most accurate printing results, using CMYK color codes in your artwork is best.

Prohibited Artwork and Order Rejection

We want to ensure that all the artwork files you upload are appropriate and won't cause any issues. That means nothing offensive, indecent, or illegal - we must follow the law. And please only send us something that could infringe on someone's privacy, copyrights, or other intellectual property rights after getting permission first.

We can reject any order that is against the law or could hurt someone else's rights. Remember, you're responsible for the content of the materials you want us to print for you. We want to protect our business and customers, so we may have to say no to some orders without giving a reason.

Image and Artwork Submission

You must submit everything in a minimum resolution of 300 DPI and using CMYK color mode. We've noticed that when printed at a lower resolution, they can look blurry, distorted, or pixelated, which obviously isn't the best outcome. We want to ensure you're completely satisfied with the final product, so this is an important step. To be clear, Packtodo.com can't be held responsible for any issues with the artwork you provide, especially if you've already approved it. Also, if conversions are made from RGB to CMYK, there may be slight differences in the colors. We want to make sure you're aware of that. So please ensure you take all necessary measures to give us high-quality images so we can achieve the best possible result for you.

Bleeding Guidelines

When creating high-quality print or packaging materials, it's essential to consider the cutting process. Because of mass production, it can be tough to guarantee that every single cut will be in the same spot. To account for this, we recommend extending the background by 0.125 inches beyond the trim line on all sides. This is known as a "bleed." On the other hand, any critical elements, like text, images, logos, etc., should be positioned inward by 0.125 inches from the trim line to avoid getting accidentally cut off. We want to make sure nothing important gets trimmed off. Our cutting tolerance recommendation is about 0.250 inches in case there are some tiny variations.

Having precise borders might seem like a good idea, but trust us, it's not. Sometimes, the paper can shift during cutting, making the borders look uneven. If you want a better idea of what we mean, we have some templates you can check out. Our team wants to ensure your print products turn out perfect, so please keep these guidelines in mind.

Payment Policy

All the prices and amounts listed on our site or sent by our sales representatives are in U.S. Dollars and may be subject to taxes and shipping fees unless otherwise stated. Also, when you purchase on our site, you agree to fully pay for everything using an authorized payment method before completing your order.

We value our customers and want to ensure you receive the best products and services. You must give us accurate and complete payment information when you place an order. If there are any errors or omissions, it could delay or even cancel your order, which we don't want to happen!

Once a customer authorizes a print job, we cannot keep the artwork files, job details, or turnaround time the same. This is to ensure the final product meets your expectations and our high standards of quality. And a reminder, customers are responsible for paying for their print jobs, including taxes and shipping fees, once the job has been sent to our prepress department. We can make some exceptions if we agree to it beforehand, but that's our general payment policy.

Order Cancellations

There's a non-refundable processing fee of 20%, but it will be at least $50. This fee covers any expenses we've already put into preparing and setting up the job. This fee will be applied if you need to cancel or downgrade your order before we start printing. But once printing has begun, we won't be able to make any changes or issue refunds. We want to ensure we get everything right before we start printing, so review all the details carefully. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this policy.

Refunds

Once an order is placed, it is considered final. Our team works hard to create each order specifically to your file and specifications, which means that we cannot offer refunds once the production process has begun.

This may sound a bit strict, but we put much effort into customizing each order and giving it that personal touch. We will start working on your order immediately after receiving your files and payment. If you change your mind or want to cancel after this point, we won't be able to offer a refund. However, in the rare case that we have yet to start working on your order or send it to the press, we may be able to consider a partial refund. Remember that there will be a cancellation processing fee, as outlined in our policies.

We aim to provide our customers with the best possible products and services and ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If a refund is allowed, please note that any labor hours, like proofs or graphic design, or administrative fees, such as credit card fees, will be deducted from the refund amount. We also kindly request that any refund requests be made within seven days of placing the order.

Policy on refunds for job cancellations due to turnaround time:

We don't usually offer refunds in these cases. But we get that sometimes there are urgent deadlines, and we want to ensure our customers get their orders on time. That's why we strongly recommend that you reach out to our customer service team beforehand.

If you have a time-sensitive project, we know how crucial it is to meet those deadlines. We'll do everything possible to accommodate your needs. However, if there comes a point where you need to cancel your order because of turnaround time, we ask for written confirmation from our Office Manager. They'll look into the situation and decide if a refund is possible.

Remember that these terms must be agreed upon when you place your order for a refund to be considered.

Returns

If you aren't satisfied with the product you received, we kindly ask that you send us photos and videos within two days of getting your shipment. This will help us get a good grasp of the situation and figure out the best course of action. We might need more time to provide this info to fix the issue.

Our team of experts will carefully look into your case and do what we can to make it right. If we discover we made a mistake, we'll get your order reprinted ASAP at no extra charge. But if we find everything in order, we can only offer solutions.

We want to clarify that we don't refund in either scenario. Our main goal is to ensure our customers get the best quality products and services.

We must advise that we are not liable for any damages that may occur during transportation." Additionally, it is essential to note that the transportation company, not our company, is responsible for any damages incurred during delivery.

We respectfully remind our valued customers that while we take great care in packaging and preparing your orders for shipment, we cannot assume liability for any potential damages that may occur during the transportation phase. Please understand that the designated transportation company bears responsibility for any potential mishaps during delivery.
